CLOROTEC® PP17-5KA
DESCRIPTION
Module of reinforced plastic electrolytic cells bipolar type CLOROTEC® PP17-5KA model, with titanium electrodes, activated anodes and nickel cathodes with high efficiency membrane for the production of chlorine-soda in its derivatives.
ALTERNATIVE 1:
Production of a unique product obtained with the capacity of the modules and equipment of the basic plant
1. 50 initial tons per day of 13% sodium hypochlorite
Investment of (1) unit (Basic Plant) according to the required capacity; the capacity is expandable by adding units.
- Module of 40 electrolytic cells model CLOROTEC® PP17-5KA.
- Rectifier of direct current of 5,000 amperes and volts according to the number ofcells.
- Basic hydraulic module (SKID) with process and control equipment to produce sodium hypochlorite.
The peripheral equipment will be supplied by the client according to the projected expandable capacity of the basic plant, the main equipment being
- High-voltage electric sub-station for a lower cost rate and greater stability without power outages, or a proprietary co-generation system.
- Main transformer for the direct current rectifier.
- Secondary transformer for process equipment and peripherals.
- Cooling tower for cooling water to cells.
- Iced water chiller.
- Tanks with agitation system for dissolving salt in water to obtain brine at 26%.
- Tanks for primary treatment and hardness precipitation with 26% brine agitation system.
- System with columns of ion exchange resins and activated carbon for treatment and obtaining ultra pure brine.
- Ultra pure brine storage tank for cell feeding.
- Storage tank of caustic soda as a reagent for the treatment of brine and soda for the stability of sodium hypochlorite.
- Hydrochloric acid storage tank as reagent and system for dechlorination of spent recovery brine.
- Finished product storage tanks (13% sodium hypochlorite).
- Air blowers for brine agitation systems.
- Reverse osmosis equipment.
- Demineralized water storage tank.
- Pumps for water and brine feed, cooling water cells. iced water chiller.
- Materials and installations of hydraulic and electrical interconnection pipes for fluid supply and discharge of hydraulic skid produc
ALTERNATIVE 2:
With additional investment sharing the capacity of alternative 1, or increasing the capacity of the basic plant and peripherals to obtain additionally the following products:
- 50% caustic soda
- 31-32% hydrochloric acid
